Employees reflect on their time at JPW

By MADELINE ATLEE-BURKE

Our people make JPW special, and over the last couple of months several JPW employees celebrated work anniversaries.

Communications Coordinator Lauren Bonanno and Outreach Specialist Nicole Peterson wrapped up their first years at JPW in March and April respectively.

Senior Director of Finance and Operations Marissa Aymar celebrated her two year-anniversary in March, and Senior Marking and Communications Director Leslie Spring commemorated six years at JPW earlier this month.

Celebrating an anniversary allows us to pause and take a moment to reflect fondly on experiences so far. For this reason, we thought it would be fun to ask the above team members a couple of questions about their thoughts on JPW.

The results are now in, and they’re pretty spectacular. But don’t just take our word for it, we’ve provided a couple of sound bites below so you know we’re not just tooting our own horn.

Leslie had the following to say about how JPW supports her career growth, “Susanne and Jenny have helped me have the best of both worlds (motherhood and professional growth), and they prove time and again that they care about our team’s long-term success.”

“My favorite things about JPW are our team culture and the meaningful work we get to do everyday,” stated Lauren. “I find the work we do on a daily basis to be very fulfilling by helping to transform communities and build trust with local government.”

“To me it’s quite clear that JPW stands out because they have an intimate knowledge on the inner workings of government,” stated Nicole. “As a result, JPW can more readily respond to the needs of their clients with tailored and targeted solutions. I believe this sets us apart from the competition and offers a value-added resource for our clients.”

Marissa recounted one of her favorite JPW memories, “My favorite JPW memory was our annual team gathering in December of 2023. We all took the day away to spend time together at a beautiful home right on the beach in Oceanside. There was food, sandcastles, games and all sorts of laughs! It was such a great day of togetherness, and the bonds that were formed that day helped to further cement our team dynamic!”

All in all, life is pretty good at JPW. Congratulations to Lauren, Nicole, Marissa and Leslie, and cheers to many more years with our team.
